Obsessive inscriptions III is the third collection of fabric-like drawings that veer between constrains of idealized geometrical orders and the beauty of the subtle gestures of imperfection as they emerge from the manual process. Conceived with precise architectural drafting pens and filled with handwritten words and phrases, the drawings are based on consistent repetitions within a prescribed outline.
The featured drawings are part of a larger selection mounted in summer 2021 at JODAR Artistry for a Pop-Up group exhibition curated by the artist Raida Shahin.
